Suri Parmar

CNF Reader, Fiction & Pop Fiction Reader – Spring 2015

Suri Parmar is a Toronto-based “creative carpet bomber” with a background in film and architectural design. Her work has screened at film festivals around the world. Among her influences, she includes Wong Kar-wai, the Wachowskis, and Angela Carter.

She is presently completing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing at the University of Southern Maine, and is directing a short stop motion film funded by the Canada Council of the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council.
