About the Artist
Sara Kirschner is an American Photographer, best known for her work in Portraiture and Still Life. She holds her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Applied Photography from Northern Kentucky University. She has participated in Juried Exhibitions at the Northern Kentucky University Gallery in Highland Heights Kentucky, has exhibited publicly in Main Straus Village as well as the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, both in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2011 she was a recipient of the International Study Abroad Scholarship. Sara actively participates in volunteer work through her photography, working with organizations such as Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled, March of Dimes, and the Fire & Iron Motorcycle Club. She has been a Visual Arts contributor to the Stone Coast Review Literary Arts Journal for Issues 3, 4, 5, & 6. (2015 – 2016)
Her most recent body of work focuses on the happenstances of everyday life through the means of street photography. Sara explores the modest details of her surroundings, using both digital and film photography to call attention to the intricacies of human behavior.
Sara Kirschner currently resides in Cincinnati.
